Song of the day: Marty Rhone – "A Mean Pair Of Jeans"

A while back I played you Marty Rhone‘s cheesy bubblegum hit “Denim & Lace” (1975). After “Denim & Lace” Marty then had two non-fabric-related hits (“Star Song” and “I’m On The Loose Again”) but in 1977 he returned to his first love with the even cheesier “A Mean Pair Of Jeans” (1977):

I guess Marty had a bit of a ‘thing’ for denim. Either that, or with “A Mean Pair Of Jeans” he was singing about two women called Jean and he didn’t like either of them.
