Musical coincidences # 98

Speaking of The Kinks and coincidences (see yesterday’s Musical coincidence), I’ve been listening to an expanded reissue of their 1968 album, The Kinks Are The Village Green Preservation Society (what a mouthful!). One of the bonus tracks on it is called “Mr. Songbird”. While it was playing I was struck by how much it reminded me of Simon And Garfunkel‘s “The 59th Bridge Street Song (Feelin’ Groovy)“.
