I posted a Pilot song the other week. The song was from their 1976 album, Morin Heights, and that prompted side3 to suggest I listen to another song from the album. I did, and at one point I exclaimed: “Hey, wait a minute…”

This is why:

Five days ago I played you “January” by Pilot. That prompted a comment by occasional commenter side3 (Hi, sidey!). Young sidey mentioned that he’s a fan of Pilot (me too, sidey), and directed me to a song of theirs called “Too Many Hopes”. He added:
